When you're feeling so low
Feel you can't take another blow
Everything looks so hollow
And their shit gets hard to swallow
Weary soul so fair (know this)
I will always be there
To carry any burden you bear
And cast off those without care
To fight away your fears
Challenge anyone who leers
Make you forget all those years
I wasn't there to brush away your tears

While the graphic slang added the effective depth of cruelty and despite dealt to the suffering, still another would have been more tasteful and gracious, if I may dare to say so. It seems to have a hint almost of romance, though it is unclassified, (I had to think of your Daryn first) and offers that sweetening breath of tender consolation, a promise to strengthen, where possible, the failing, easing the burden and lightening the load. Admittedly entering the scene belatedly yet no less fervently in love for the victim, it seems an offer the drowning might only too readily welcome and embrace. Excellent imagery and beautiful sentiments. I enjoyed it sans the touch of modern crudity. Lovely.
