Not worthy of anything
Not the time of day
Not the air inflating my lungs
Inside my head I whisper What would it feel like not to whisper To have someone who listens And does not pretend to understand On command, a friend to hold my hand
Not the isolated loneliness that I feel today Watching from a window while the other play I'm worthless Not worth anything Not worth love, happiness, or any other good feeling
Completely alone in this world of mine Thinking to myself that life is a waste of time It's so much better when you can't feel No more pain for you to feel
In this bleak hole of despair and disappointment Alone I sit like a dropped off orphan Unwanted Not cared for Unworthy of loving

WELCOME MC ! A very sad but honest first poem ! Your poem is well structures with rhyme and rhythm but the content is WORTHLESS ! Why do your feel that way. I have "off days" when i feel WORTHLESS but i always bounce back. I realise that in MAN's sight I may be WORTHLESS but in God' sight I am unique and very very precious - OK _ BRIAN
Open your eyes.. Look in the mirror.. Now tell yourself you are worthy.. You are never alone when the pen rests in your hand.. write it out.. Share it and discover who you truly are.. Unleash the pain and start building the joy.. As long as this site is here.. We are not alone.. Now remember the last time you smiled and smile today.
