Flowchart of Attention

avigail

I was doing teeth cleaning.

She was leaning on me with her sharp tools.

I closed my eyes, meditating.

What got me alert and attentive?

-Pain

-Sudden noise

-Direct light projection

When things went back to streams of “routine discomfort”, thoughts’ flow took over.

I was examining this in real-time.

Which part of me was exploring, watching  the built-in flowchart of attention?

Can blue-print of attentiveness be trained?

How does it work with you?

OHHHHHH AVI ~ I love you even more when you are being philosophical and assertive ! ATTENTIVENESS ? On MPS we all want to speak and promote our own philosophy ~ BUT ~ instead we can listen. We can lend our ATTENTIVENESS to another's need to speak ~ by our silent attentiveness. In this CYBERAGE ~ AVI ~ we can be very inattentive. We need to sharpen our ability to be attentive and never uisolate ourselves form the myriad of sources which (rightly) clamour for our attention "No Man is an Island". Head phones and ego-phones (in public) should be illegal ! The cardinal sin we can commit isto be INATTENTIVE to a CHILD ! Thanks for sharing I'm still meditating ~ Hugs & Love ~ BRIAN

AVI ~ SOMEONE SAID ~ The Creator gave us two ears but only one mouth so we should listen at least twice as much as we seek. I pray to be more attentive. Also we only have ONE NOSE so we should be more careful where we stick it.. With you AVI I'm all ears ~ love to be intellectually and philosophically nibbled ! Love and big hugs ~ BRIAN
