Delirium

elphaba993

It's strange

The delicious deliriousness

Caused by hunger and lightheadedness.

My memories of you

Seem curiously heightened...

All I can think of

Is the taste of your kiss

The feel of your skin on mine

The sensation of you moving in me

How strange

To be struck with these waves of desire

In such a cold, unforgiving place

And though I know

The chance of seeing you again

Is next to impossible

This hunger induced delirium

Makes your memory seem

Nearly real

Time and distance do strange things to us when we are missing that object of desire.
