in the morning when the dawn breaks
I greet the rising sun
the serenading of the songbirds
in the garden has begun
I sit and drink my coffee
as I contemplate the day
then reminiscing on the evening
that has at last faded away
it seems that living in the moment
must be the masters scheme
for yesterday is just a memory
and tomorrow but a dream
