My love amplified

Christina8

He amplifies my love

with his soft tender touch

He makes me come alive

without having to try much

My heart grows ever fonder

with each passing day

He boggles my mind

without always having to say

"I love you!" And I know he does.

I feel the same way. I do!

I don't know what I'd do without him

Not even the slightest clue

But when he kisses me

he amplifies my love

I get goosebumps and

it's like a gift from above

It's been 17 years since we met

and you'd think romance would go away

But the exact opposite is true

Our love is eternal and here to stay

BEAUTIFUL CHRIS ~ reading it has given me goosepimples ! The MILLENNIUM has a lot to answer for ~ it obviously didn't just affect the computers ! My (limited) experience with True Love is that it grows and gets deeper each day ~ WOW 17 years that's a life time for some ! For me this is the happiest and most optimistic poem of yours I have read (and I've read all 39). I hope this is one of your NY Revolutions ! Hugs in the SPIRIT ~ Yours BRIAN

Well, I heard the word "amplify" with a glass of wine in hand, and I thought "that's how our love is. I need to write a poem about it." I never drink so I don't know if that affected it but I do know that our love grows as time passes. Thanks for your kind review! And thanks for reading all of my poems. (I've read yours SINCE I started MPS but not all of them, sorry) Hugs in the spirit--Christina

And hang on to it Christina as I am sure you will. I have been married for over 50 years and we love each other as much as ever - this is a super poem and it reminded me how lucky we are.
