Thanks CHRIS ~ in my book a good Poem should possess meter ! Blank verse has NO RHYME but it pulsates with RHYTHM ~ just like an OPEL ! Fire Opals are special and vary from pale yellow. though orange to deep red. The orange ones (like in the photo) are the most valuable. Pleased you like OPALS it shows good taste in gemstones ! Thanks JANE for a positive and encouraging comment. My poetry is very heterogeneous but I like to amuse and inform and challenge ~ sometimes all three. This site (as you know) gives us an opportunity to "post a visual". I have illustrated all mine and in some cases the visual is the inspiration. I look forward to more of your poems ~ Love your DOG by the way ! Yours BRIAN.
