My Poetic Side is such a blessing

for those that need to share their thoughts

I stay up reading newcomers poems

and some let us know pain that life has brought

And it's such a good site to

come and take your feelings to vent

Some have lost their love and

need feelings heard that won't relent

But some poems are silly, some scary.

And some people write about their dreams.

We are all unique and have different talents

Which is what makes MPS so great it seems

Thanks for CARING ~ CHRIS ~ I agree with your comment ! MPS is a blessing and it is encouraging when a poem eulogises the whole site ! I Love the classical structure of your poem. Neat quatrains with consistent meter and a consistent rhyming pattern xaxa xbxb xcxc well done ! Stanza 1. Hilights sharing thoughts and pain ! 2. Suggests a need to VENT ~ which many find cathartic ~ and 3. Celebrate the plethora of subjects and styles and passions "Which is what makes MPS ~ so great" AMEN.. Great poem from a Precious Member ~ HUGS in the Spirit ~ BRIAN

You've put into a great poem what many of us think Christina. I do wish, however, that there was a forum where we could all discuss our work (I've said that before so sorry for going on about it) and it would also be nice to put real names to the poets - like what I (and just a few others) do !! I'm proud to put my real name to my work - and I've said that somewhere before as well. Aw heck - I'm on a soapbox again !!

Well, thank you so much for your feedback. Maybe we can send them to Julian Yanover and see what he thinks. I'm very thankful for your feedback and I agree with what you are saying. Just a few things to make this site even better! Thanks again! Christina

I did raise something a little while back but didn\'t really get an answer so I\'m a bit reluctant to do so especially given the fact that this is a free site for which I\'m so grateful. However if enough are in agreement perhaps we make a joint approach?
