deluged in epiphany

janetaylor

i stood pensive
near the sparkling water’s edge
where nature drowns out
the madness of humanity

staring at the rising sun
i’m deluged
in ephipany

peace rests
only in the place
where i know nothing

Nowhere like nature to bring us to heel Jane - the poem so cleverly lined and formed has a last line that says it all. Thanks for this first class write with such an apt image.

In epiphany that means at the moment of sudden and great revelation I realize this flood and that is why I am deluged. Standing with very deep thought I have witnessed nature more. I know nothing but still I exist here. Rising sun starts the first day. Water's edge talks about madness of humanity. This is an amazing poem with thoughtful imagery.
