Never this day again,
never this moment of potent sensation.
Air of sharp crystalline
will not again invade this exact skyline.
The same sun's high display
will never perform this grandeur again.
Not again this daytime
when whirling seagulls hunt high tide.
No more this moment's sheen
diamantéing each ripple over the sea.
Never again this morning
when quiet eats into sound and form.
Nature's speech, in this second
only, will never be bettered for effect.

Thank you FAY ~ for reminding us that each DAY is unique and precious. Not only sensuously but also opportunitywise ! A really beautiful poem ~ and visual ~ in form and function.
Thank you Brian - nature gives us so much material for poetry and I constantly go back for more. So pleased you enjoyed this one.

Great write, living on a farm I have learned to cherish each day
Air of sharp crystalline will not again invade this exact skyline. Time's impact is wonderfully reflected in this poem. Every day comes with its originality. Nature's speech is very amazing. An excellent poem is shared.
Thank you for your expressive comment my friend.
You got it nailed down and wrapped in a poem Fay... When its gone, its gone and even tho there may be close approximations... each day is quite simply unique ........... N
Too true Nev - - we have only today and the moments it brings - authentic and unique eh ? -- many big thanks for looking into my archives - - ha - is that the right word for it - sounds a bit rude to me........................and for this lovely comment .......... x
