First light Choices

P.H.Rose

            First light Choices

You stand there staring at the long line down the wall
Left is my savour, right is your fall
In this day that you walk and the path that you take
Will determine a fate from the point that you wake.
It's all about the choices we make on this day
And hope to choose right and
not a wrong one we pray.
Nothing is written in the stars up above,
It's about the road that we take
In this life that we love.

Every day in every way, memories will fade, decisions to be made, the futures not set - well it isn't yet. Love it PH

I like your poem! I like the comments before me, like seize the day. We don't know what will happen if we don't try. Great write!

        Thank you Chrissy
        Brian's quote is brilliant
But I love another Latin phrase
"Quod in Vita facimus, in Aeternum resonat" means
"That we make in life, Echoes in Eternity"... I love Latin...
