LIMERICK No 9

Michael Edwards

  • LIMERICK No9

  • An intrepid inventor from Flore

    invented a hingeless door.

It was made out of pine

and when closed it was fine

but when opened it fell to the floor.

You Know I love the way you paint for I have said as much before !
now I am starting to feel the same about you writing and sense of humor
from down here the floor (I am rolling around as I belly laugh down on this dirty with sawdust floor)

Funny limerick. Awesome painting. I guess the inventor was unhinged. Whatever. It sounds like the doors on my house. Nice bit of humor to start my day. - Phil A.

Thanks for the humor respite. Great water coloring as well to match the poem.

Thanks Augustus - I am afraid this site does get a bit heavy with 'Woe Is Me' poetry - or is that seditious talk?
