  I'm amazed, people aren't usually open about these stuff because there'd be a whole lot of 'dalfluf you on about god' but you're right :'D we want peace, the Lord is the one to ask for and he answers all prayers indeed. The poem was very well written :O very optimistic and inspiring:') enjoyed reading it !! 🌈

  I call GOD By many names but he always answers my prayers but never once did he say hey don't ever call me the big guy or say Oh I hate when you call me Daddio or the highest flyer but he sayI see you have quite an imagination and u you use it very well but I am very happy you called me at all for that and you human being killing each other in Mass on a daily basis is enough and if I throw my hand up and say OK I tied to give them every benefit of the many doubts I have had ! I must rid the earth of these stupid creatures and start over and try again to creature a race of people who are at least smart enough if not to read and know the mind OF GOD almighty at least to know his/her intention has nothing to do willing & killing each or any of his many and grand creatures? thank you Brain for this write and a shoulder to cry on You friend WW

In Galatians 4 v G The Holy Spirit informs us "Because we are "Sins of God" we can intimate with him and call him DADDY ~ ABBA FATHER so to address our awesome Creator God as DADDIO seems fine. When i met Bill Clinton @ Little Rock ARKANSAS ~ I said "Hello Bill" and he was OK with that ! My American Friend (An Iowan !) sid "You should have called him Mr President ~ and the English are accused of being too formal ! Personally I find My God is more approachable than an Human Being ~ even Bill Clinton ! Yours BRIAN

    WOW ~ RON the concept of having GOD as your best Friend is awesome but TRUE ! Yes GOD is a Friend of Mind (and praise GOD I am a Friend of His !) and I do find PRAYER (talking to GOD) as easy as talking to my Best Friend ~ AMEN ~ Thanks for your comment ~ BRIAN

  Well done sunday prayer message. I hesistate to speak about Trump. I share your fears in the first stanza. And there is calm knowing that he hears our prayers--pretty much what you said in the last couplet. I look toward the future with an ounce of hope left. Thanks for writing this sunday message.     Thanks CHRIS ~ Since BREXIT (very unsettling for all in the UK) and the election of a "loose cannon" as President of the USA ~ our greatest ally ~ things are more uncertain for both of us. Through Prayer we can share our concerns with GOD and he shares our worries. The BIBLE also teaches that we MUST PRAY EVERY DAY ~ for those God has allowed (through His permissive will) to be in control of both our Countries ! I posted my PRAYER openly to encourage others to pray ~ OK. Responses have been (in the main) positive. Hugs in the Spirit ~ BRIAN.

  I have been listening to some bible interpretations and readings, an old radio program, by Vernon McGee. In one of his programs he spoke of praying for our leaders around the world. You are the only other person to suggest that, that I know. We can complain but also pray. I like it.

    Thanks "A" for your very positive response. God exhorts us to "Pray for ALL those in Authority". We my not always like our Bosses or those who hold High Political Office and this is all the more reason to pray for them ! A paradox indeed but God was and is and always will be SOVEREIGN LORD of the PhysIcal and Spiritual Universe ~ AMEN ~ BRIAN
