A BEAUTIFUL SPRING MEADOW ~ AWESOME !
SPRING HAS SPRUNG ~ Bursting from the ground
PINK CROCUSES and Snowdrops ~ they
RAISE THEIR HEADS ~ everywhere abound
I FEEL a new spring in my stride
NOW as to work I go ~ hey ho
GIRLS have shed their Winter hide !
HEAR THE BIRDS they sweetly sing ~ They're
ALL READY for the "Joy of Spring"
SEIZE ALL the blessings it will bring !
SPRING ~ Season ~ O so full of JOY
PERFECT for every Girl and Boy
RISE UP FROM ~ Winter's cold and dark
UP WITH the morning song of lark
NOW is the Season of new life
GOD'S Love & Joy & Peace is rife !

- Comment from author about the poem: This last week ~ in the UK ~ the Weather has been very mild and Springy with temperatures of 15C (60F) and very little rain in some parts. The Spring flowers are in full bloom (they don't know it's still February) and the Birds are all in full flight. The Ladies have shed their Winter Drab and donned their Spring plumage. I always enjoy the transition from Winter to Spring it lifts everyone's Spirits despite BREXIT and TRUMP and PUTIN etc. Comments welcome ~ hope your Spring comes early ! Ah so uplifting and yes I counted 5 different types of flower in bloom in my garden this morning and that doesn't include 4 different types of crocus (in a variety of colours but no pink ones) blooming their socks off.

THANKS JOHN ~ Depends how hard your Winter has been ! Winter can be cold ~ dark ~ dreary and in my experience ~ Just as God promises in the BIBLE ~ SPRING breaks out in a Hymn of Joy from the birds and the bees and millions of beautiful flowers. It is always exciting and breeds optimism for the Fruits of Summer and Autumn ! The British are famous for our Gardens which make us very aware when Spring has Sprung ~ Yours BRIAN
