Out on the promenade

willyweed

I fell asleep and found my dream
The moon carried me away
It lifted me in the pale moon light

And now I long to stay

I saw that I had fallen
Into your sweetest of love songs
I want to dance with- you tonight

Dancing all night long

Below the stars all shining
Until the star light fades
A long -enchanted evening

Out on the promenade

Keeping promises we made
Walking hand and hand with you
There we will dance together

Our future will be bright

And we will find each other

and all the love we gave

In the morning light

Out on the promenade

A moonlit night on the promenade, a great setting for love and dance. This is a wonderful expression of love's fulfillment and endurance. To remember promises long ago made, and the thrill of physical contact. Good words, good work. - Phil A.
