GOOD MORNING LORD ~ Please hear my prayer today

Do you feel how I feel this fine morning ?

I know LORD you're grieved by the Human Race

We're proud ~ self sufficient ~ forget to pray !

 

I want to commit myself to you LORD

Help me to walk in Your Path for my Life

Give me the Grae & Strength to overcome .....

All the obstacles that hinder my way.

 

The vain philosophies of this World LORD 

Bear no resemblance to your Truth LORD

They're subtle ~ seductive ~ superficial

Men are led astray by a suave soft sell !

 

Those who follow you LORD will be fearless

We sing ~ dance for joy ~ in your presence ~ Y E S !

      Good write. Many Psalms lend themselves to praise, song, etc. Some can be tricky - with vengeance themes, etc. Yet they have their place too - overcoming enemies, etc shown in physical terms. We should not pick and choose really, but pick out the 'nice' ones! heehee.

        Thanks "O" for your encouraging comment. I read through the BIBLE systematically and today is PSALM 12 ! A CRY FOR HELP ! We have to read the Old TestamEnt in context ~ but there is message in every Psalm for today. Psalm 23 is very precious to all of us and in times of stress I always go bak to it for encouragement & strength. Thanks for caring ~ Yours BRIAN

          Thanks WILLY ~ The amazing thing is even though we may forget to pray & worship ~ GOD loves us just the same ! When BILLY GRAHAM visited OZ and New Zealand ~ He was amazed at the welcome he got and the Spiritual Enthusiasm he experienced ~ and we have found it to be the same in the 21st C ! BRIAN I have friends and relations in both Countries ~ AMEN
