bruised purple

willyweed

I’m ok and I feel well
but sometimes it’s really to, hard to tell
I was naked and bruised purple on the day that I was born I have been naked and bruised purple for my whole life long When you are naked and bruised purple can your soul be saved? Or will I be naked and bruised purple as I am laying in my grave When I meet my maker will he wash away my sin. Or mark me bruised purple and send me back again?
Or will my purple bruising earn me a, pair of angel wings? I feel ok and it seems I’m well
But about some things it’s just really, hard to tell.

Good 'un Willy. Do you know the poem by Jenny Joseph -.When I am an old woman I shall wear purple ? Well seems as if you've got I made - you don't have to dress up for it - or is it just extra cold where you are? 🙂

      • willyweed

In the battlefield of life the armour and weaponary we build up inside of us throughout our lives is enormous. keep the armour held up high and stand invincible to those who try to 'bruise you purple'. a great and well light poem here willyweed, it's a reminder of how hurt we can be sometimes.

"Bruised and purple," Some physical, some psychological, but we all suffer to one degree or another. It's getting free and what you do from there that counts. Somehow I think the Maker forgives those that are "bruised and purple." Nice eye-opening write. - Phil A.

Sort of a spiritual question. Does our suffering here on earth grant A pathway to heaven? I like this.
