  • Comment from author about the poem: This is a very personal poem, my wife is in early stage dementia and it gets worse day by day. This is a senryu. The layout is the same as a haiku, 5-7-5, but where strictly speaking a haiku is about nature and the seasons, senryu relate to emotions
