In My Opinion

WriteBeLight

Opinions come,

Both good and bad.

Some have been given,

Some have had.

Some are uplifting,

Others, heartfelt.

Or the just the opposite,

Below the belt.

Opinions have substance,

Have been taken,

Taught a lesson,

Have been awakened.

Whether they are asked for,

Or whether not.

Could be just criticisms,

A low blow, a shot.

In the end,

They do not define.

Stay strong in your heart,

Stay strong in your mind.

Always believe in,

You, yourself.

Remember to take them,

With a grain of salt.

Enjoyable read. I'll think of this (and that cute pic) if I tend toward taking an opinion as a grand assault and not gracefully 🙂
