Trapped .....

raindropxo

I love you
I really do but not like before
I feel alone and trapped
I feel like this love isn't real anymore
I feel like you don't want to be with me and I don't want to be with you
But I don't want to lose what we do have
Our laughs our friendships
The love you have for my son
I don't want to start over with anybody else
But I don't want to feel trapped anymore
I want to feel excited again
I want to feel butterflies in my stomach again
I want to get chills when you kiss me
It's not the same as before
Are we just not meant to be
Are we just trapped because we're scared to find someone new

WELCOME RAINDROP (GREAT PEN NAME) Thanks for your first poem which describes a "Relationship position" many of us have been in. When passion morphs back into "friendship" you do crave for the "butterflies" and "inner chill" and "inner thrill" which have disappeared ! I always learn something from every relationship but I have found ~ when it's "time to move on" ~ it's best to move on. Thanks for sharing ~ this is a very supportive site and we all share and care for each other. Every Blessing to you and your Son ~ Yours BRIAN (UK) Please check my poems ~ Thanks B
