WHERE ON EARTH WOULD YOU REALLY LIKE TO LIVE ?
1. SWITZERLAND ~ Landlocked ~ awesome vistas very clean and clinical every one wears a bell !
2. CANADA ~ Beautiful scenery and wildlife ~ infinite space great hospitality. Like a freezer in Winter !
3. GREAT BRITAIN ~ Nowhere quite like it ! A Democratic Monarchy with lots of Pomp & Ceremony !
4. GERMANY ~ Vorschprung durch Tecnic ~ can be a little too precise and assertive. Great BEER !
5. JAPAN ~ Full of Eastern Promise ~ exceeds expectations. OK if you like Sushi ~ very crowded !
6. SWEDEN ~ Very scruulous and sanitized no poverty. Swedish Ladies are all beautiful & elegant !
7. USA ~ Ex Pluribus Unum ~ One Country but amazingly diverse ~ Every State is so so different !
8, AUSTRALIA ~ Great climate and very laid back ~ Like a lake ~ very good round the edges !
9. FRANCE ~ Great language ~ cuisine and wine. Paris and Parisian Ladies are very very chic !
10. NORWAY ~ 98% of the population are Norwegians ~ It's night for six months and very expensive !
The survey was carried out by ~ The US News and World Report using nine very broad criteria.
They were assisted by the University of Pennsylvania. If Trump had carried out the survey USA
would have occupied the FIRST TEN PLACES and to Hell with the rest of the WORLD !

- Comment from author about the poem: GREAT BRITAIN scored high as a demoigracy with a great record on immigration. We are very Gender and Religion tolerant. Excellent Education and some of the best Universities in the World. Foremost in Science ~ Art ~ Culture and Sport. Stable Monarchy since the 17th Century and a great historical heritage (everything is OLD !). London is one of the most visited Capitals in the World and a very important Financial Centre. We will give Donald Trump a Right Royal Reception when he visits. We know which side our breadis buttered on. We are almost full but there is still room for EXCEPTIONAL PEOPLE ! Please forgive me I am very very biased when taking about my HOME COUNTRY ! Thanks for visiting (we need the Tourists !) Love BRIAN

Thanks CHRIS ~ They are all amazing ~ I have visited all except JAPAN but I have visited JAPAN in virtual reality ~ a very very unique country. One of my Cousins has visited and loved it. Pleased you liked my INFORMATION ODE ! Hugs across the Pond ~ BRIAN. New Zealand (14) China (20) Russia (27) and Mexico (33) Is TRUMP a president with a small "p" ? Was that intentional or a Freudian slip ? !!!!!!!!!
Surprised New Zealand did not make the list. Your poems are always so informative. Hugs.
THANKS "A" ~ New Zealand is an amazing Country and I would love to live there ! However the size of it's population (4 million ~ same as the State of Kentucky !) tends to limit its Global influence which was one of the criteria. However it came 14th which is an excellent position considering its size ! Other places were China (20) Russia (27) Mexico (33 ~ don't tell Trump !) Argentina (42) ~ Yours ~ BRIAN
So nice to see something so well written about home.
Thanks NAILL ~ Anyone from Yorkshire (UK) has a lot o be proud about ! Thanks for your encouraging comment BRIAN
