I looked inside myself and surrendered
to the things within I have seen
and then I just remembered
why it is I came to be
this incarnation was my doing
I have entered this life with free will
I came searching for the answers
now my soul will not be still
I seek to find the meaning
to these places where i am drawn
and if I can find the answers
I shall bring a brand new dawn

We all feel like you WW... I believe we're never settled in who we are.... but life is good & above all God is good and loves us. Be blessed and keep us reading your fine poetry.
I appreciate your fine comment RR and I have spent time on your beautiful Island home, even honeymooned there a long time ago!

Good write, we all look for that place where peace and love exists and occasionally we find it only to lose it once more but at least we know it is out there.

I read this as positive, an awakening of sorts with hope for the future. This is master class poetry.
