Power

BatSam

Strength is only a word
When death is right in front of you
Power is beating the death
Till a different time
It's time to live

When there is no more power
Death will get you
But you fought the darkness
For so long
You are a hero

You will be forever remembered
You will be in many hearts

  • Comment from author about the poem: My grandfather is fighting cancer. Doctors say that he might only live a few months if he is lucky. He has been fighting for awhile. He is like a father to me. He has put up a powerful fight I will say. He is such a great guy.

I have just been looking through your work and love everything that you've published. This is no exception.

      Thank you so much.

Yeah fighting cancer has been an ongoing crisis for years. We try to give ourselves hope to help others continue on like the cure has always been there awaiting in our hearts.

Faith is the best cure for wellness. Not continued cycles of chemotherapy which in fact (gives) you subliminal radiation that many are unaware of till this day.

So take heed with his sickness for God has a plan for him even in death. No matter what he'll always be apart of your existence.

He will always be in my heart. Cancer is everywhere and I hope everyone fights to the fullest. God has a plan for everyone. Everyone has to die one day even though the loved ones don't want them to.

He will always be remembered and your words just embellish this fact. Good write.
