The Good Old Days

iamwoman

The good old days,

Were oh so grand,

From playing hopscotch,

To watching American Bandstand.

From eating cotton candy,

To wearing mini skirts,

From going up and down on a pogo stick,

Until your bottom really hurt.

These were such good memories,

Some of them made me cry,

I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did,

Of the good old days gone by.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Yes I so remember the good old days. There are a lot more of these memories and that's why I decided to write a poetry book of all of these things from the good old days. I think we must remember them and it will make you smile as you read it.
