SUN & THE PLANETS IN ORDER ~ M V E M J S U N IX
Our SUN is so bright
Nuclear Fusion gives it light
that's neat lots of heat !
The MOON's another
story ~ she basks in the Sun's
reflected glory !
Number 9 ~ doth vex
PLANET IX ~ depravity
only gravity
MERCURY ~ next Sun
shines bright ~ just like a candle
to hot to handle
VENUS ~ planet of
TRUE LOVE ~ to make you swoon ~ but
sadly there's no moon
EARTH ~ is unique our
Home Planet ~ half is water
and half is granite !
MARS is one ~ we'd like
to colonise ~ Buzz Aldrin
reachin' for the skies !
Thanks for visiting ~ comments welcome ~ Love BRIAN
These HAIKU are all 17 syllables in a 5 7 5 triplet ~ OK

- Comment from author about the poem: Mankind has always been fascinated by The Sun ~ Moon ~ Planets and now we've found another one PLANET IX ! There is only one problem ~ we can't see it only feel it ! It has been detected by gravity ~ beyond the now demoted PLUTO ~ another Mickey Mouse Planet ! It would have been more fun if Mars & Venus had been populated ~ but perhaps one day Mars will be ~ as an Earth overspill ~ Buzz Aldrin (Man on the Moon) is busy buying up real estate and building Mars Bars ~ watch this space ! More tomorrow ~ comets welcome ~ May the Force be with you ~ Love to All ~ BRIAN XOX

THANKS MICHAEL ~ I love HAIKU ~ short bu not always sweet. I am aware they shouldn't rhyme but it makes them more recitable ! BRIAN
But you is only on Part 1 - you said so in the title! I wasn't expecting to read all parts at once - and I didn't! The are probably in Part 2, 3, however many parts!
Thanks "O" pleased you noticed. I haven't left any out ~ they will all be included in tomorrow ! Yours BRIAN
Wonderful Haiku! I see you took poetic license with these and made them rhyme, I love it! They are all very unique and well written. Well done! Hugs-Christina
