Each day passes too quickly,
We look back at all those days,
Those days we seem to have lost.
We then look towards tomorrow
Wondering what it may bring.
Will it bring joy?
Will it bring sorrow?
We may never know.
We must live for the now,
The now is always with us,
We can do something about it,
Now is our future,
Live it and be strong,
As tomorrow may be too late.

Good write. Let's not get into some tangle about whether 'now' exists or not. Of course it does! I know - the next minute will then be the 'now' when it arrives. But for the present, this minute is 'now'.
Now, now don't try and confuse me.
At first I was about to write..... but for now, this minute is 'now'. That's a lot of 'now's'. lol. There's some old-fangled stuff that says there is no 'now'; we're not really here; we don't exist; etc. It might even be new-fangled stuff too.
A great philosophy and one I adhere to all the time - I never look back and plan for tomorrow for tomorrow will be now pretty soon.
As I have said in a previous poem 'The past is another country'. Thank you Michael.
Now is our future. Elegantly said.
However it's pretty soon our past. All very confusing. It's probably to do with quantum mechanics.
As our Spirit goes through the ether time is no longer apparent.
NOW that is a great point and good advice!
Thank you WBL. Each moment in our lives is precious grab them with both hands.
there is only one scared moment " now" always was always will be. excellent write Goldfinch!
Scared moment? I don't want to live in the now, in that case! You mean 'sacred'? heehee.
yes I am so sorry I tripped over myself You know what I mean orchidee (not Goldfinch I really blew that must have gotten up to early?) Please excuse me I am a dumbass!
True, now is so important and each now must be grabbed. Thank you WW.
Just for now - right now - a big coooeeee! lol. Why don't I shut up now?!
