Winnow The Wind.

Fay Slimm.

Winnow The Wind

Soft as the cobwebs that dance the vine.
Moist as the droplets that dew the rose.
Warm as the first taste of ruby red wine
Is love that once planted, sturdily grows.

Harsh as a gale that splits bare branch.
Cold as an ocean that breeds aloneness .
Hard as the silence smothering romance
Is love that once wilted, fun over-throws

Winnow the wind, divide chaff from grain.
Rediscover lost gold, come love me again

        Very very good Fay
        I like the" taste of
        Ruby red wine"
        I have a poem
        About memory
        From youth, it has
        The line, "memory
        Flows as I take a
        Sip Of blood red wine"

THANKS FOR SHARING FAY ~ As we grow older we begin to experience some of the extremes of love ~ but we never fully understand them. Love grows and love wilts ~ but we never (fully) understand WHY. I have learned to enjoy it while it lasts ~ but not to suffocate (in misery) when it dies ~ but to learn positives from the experience ~ and move on as gracefully and gratefully as possible ! Yours B.
