Loss
I cannot replace your heart with silence,
Nor can I get my life to finally grow.
This quality of stillness is so overpowering,
No Quietness will fill this overbearing void.
Noise a welcome retreat from that emptiest space,
Elst filled with memories of your character defined face.
A loss so hard that hardly any words describe,
But a feeling no letters combined can meet its need.
A walk in dreams of times long passed,
Nothing left can now ever really last.
I wait the time when all this pain release,
Then your hand in mine we'll walk a road into our final peace...
