Sunday in the garden
Bluebirds sing a happy song
The cardinals in the maple tree
Join in to sing along
The Bumble Bees are busy
Where the roses like to climb
As the Blue jays eat the berries
Growing on the vines
The Cottontail is hopping home
But she’ll be back again
And the squirrels are all playing
Try to catch me if you can
I leave peanuts for the chipmunks
And other creatures great and small
And every time I leave them there
They always eat them all
Is it a symphony or a circus?
It’s all so magical to me
Sunday in the garden
What a lovely place to be
