Seasons

DMS

Our love is like the seasons the way its changes never ends

The way you break my heart but in the end it mends

We started our story in the winter i remained guarded and cold

But you wanted to show me you're worth my time your moves oh so bold

Then the spring came and what we had began to grow

Not all of it was perfect you kept secrets from me you thought id never know

My tears were the rain but when we're together the flowers sprouted

I put all the bad away everything you did to me was clouded

Then came the summer our love was so bright

Everything seemed like it was coming together just right

I thought one day we would be together forever

But the fall brought things i didn't think about, never

Our love died off when the Autumn ripped the leaves off the trees

The night that girl got on her knees

She could taste my love when she took a bite of you

Flavor so sweet she continued to feast even though she knew she wasn't supposed to

He thought of me when he laid in her bed bare

My hurt that would erupt from his bitter love affair

I take him back with alluring grace

I wipe the tears that fall down my face

Now we're back to the snow and ice

Don't you dare break this heart twice
