My life starts so high above your world,

Born by vapour coming together

Forming my droplet within the cloud.

I am not alone, my siblings born as well.

At last we are big enough to be set free

And fall down to your earth in gentle harmony;

I fall and am stopped by the leaves of a willow

Waving gently by the water’s edge.

I slide down the leaves and caress the ground,

And again I am with my brother and sisters

Gathering together, trickling into a stream,

Where we flow together in ripples of laughter.

We come to the river where we meet others,

And together in a huge silent body

We join ourselves into this mass,

Drifting slowly to our death and rebirth.

We come at last to the sea,

Where we are caressed by waves and the sun.

Once again I am lifted from your world

Into the vapour, to become reborn.

A fine write. Sounds like King Solomon - some of his words. he said, though not his exact words, that life goes on in cycles. I suppose he only had an Old Testament / Old Covenant view, as he called everything vanity - things going round in circles!
Yet the symbol for infinity has no beginning or end - that sideways thingy like an '8'. And we're both very old - of an infinite age. Since 1066 anyway! heehee.

Thanks Orchi, well 1066 is part of infinity.

Thanks ANDY ~ "GOD touched the CLOUDS formed the RAIN from the RAIN formed the SEA ~ from the SEA formed the CLOUDS to give us life abundantly !" Planet Earth is a very wet Planet and the abundance of liquid water (H2O) is one of the main reasons it is a living planet. The ambient temperature of 16C and the energy of the Sun drives the Water Cycle which is an important design factor to keep Planet Earth functional & fertile. Thanks for your anthropomorphic poem love it ! Please check my Numbers Poem & Fruit Fusion ~ BRIAN
