untitled 1

SoulTuesday

awareness has always been my issue

i don't lack it

instead it blinds me

           deafens me

            drowns me

way i see it

we're puzzle pieces

making up the cosmos

and i know my piece is bent

i sit up late at night

seeing the other pieces

trying to feel their lives

wondering...

do they feel misshapen too?

i long more than anything

for that blissful ignorance

to forget the fact

i just dont fit

Maybe your piece isn't bent it just belongs to a 3D puzzle. You just haven't found the pieces that connect to you yet. I hope you do. Best wishes and hugs.

WELCOME SOUL TUESDAY ~ THANKS FOR YOUR FIRST POEM ~ and the enigma it presents ! We are all (more or less) aware of the environment we are in but uncertain of the sppecific niche we fit ! Life is an ecological puzzle ! MANDI is right we re all 3D so finding the fit is harder than adding a "piece" to a 2D jigsaw puzzle ! The trouble is "Life & Love" is dynamic so todays perfect fit ~ can be tomorrows misfit ~ I love the challenge of you Poem ~ more please ! Please check my poems ~ BRIAN (UK)
