Let the shadow of my passing
cast no darkness on the day
For we live each moment
Only once
then move blithely
on our way.

- Comment from author about the poem: It seems most people think this is about death, (my death and wishful thinking?) and originally it was going to be with a first line of "let the sadness..." but i thought this too dismal for such a sunny day. And changed it be more optimistic and general about our passage through life being light and trouble free. Did it work i wonder.

Must stand under light to cast a shadow .
It worked - good write Garry.
I love the uplift of this optimistic few lines Garry - it worked a treat for me.
Live each moment they are so fleeting and so precious.
Yeah, that crops up as a common theme on s couple of my poems.
