Break A Leg

Mandi

The curtains open
Center stage, lights up, the show begins
Entertain them, make them laugh and cry
Put on a performance they'll never forget
Are you their puppet, NO, they're yours
They hang on your every word, every action
Their attention, emotion, you control them
Guide them gently or force them toward your goal
You have them hooked, they can't get enough
You end your act but the silence is swift
Applause errupts and takes its place
Take a bow, lights fade
The curtains close
