LIMMERICK 29

who was once heard loudly to state:

‘The winter hurley burley

when it gets late early

is no patch on the summer when it stays early late!’

A fine write M. Oohh, wasn't there some trouble about Donald Duck not wearing trousers? And Porky Pig in those cartoons too?! But then again, you ever seen animals wearing clothes, apart from some winter coats for dogs, etc?

    • Michael Edwards

Are but they are cartoon animals whereas Athelstan a Barrington - well they're real gnomes.

A smile on my face as I contemplate a nude little Barrington without his tunic. Good limerick too.
