Highcliffe Beach

ShannonXx

Skinny jeans attached to my legs

Jewellery placed on my wrist and hands

Too young

Little cares

A school trip

A time we will all share

A bus trip to Highcliffe beach

Singing at the top of our lungs

To songs no one knows

Gossiping

Conspiring against the world

Teenage drama

Teenage angst

Gets us all sidetracked

Little focus on work needing to be done

Only fooling around

With rustic pebbles fixed to the ground

Eroded coarse rocks travelling up so high

Seagulls swiftly flying by

The sea breeze curling my hair

The beauty of the sea making us feel bare

Sat upon the rocks

Sharing words of love

Admiring the clouds

How they curve round the sun

Not letting the sun breathe

It was a dreary day

But one memorable in every way
