RUMBA IN THE HAVANA CLUB ~ JULY 2016
CUBA ~ Discovered by SPAIN in 192 and fought over ever since !
The UK owned it in the 18th C and Spain owned FLORIDA ! We saw
the potential of DISNEY LAND so we swapped CUBA for FLORIDA !
UNUSUALLY situated ~ so near to Miami ~ it is an emerald jewel
set in a sapphire sea. In the 20th C it was a playground for Rich
American Gangsters for speakeasies ~ gambling ~ prostitution !
BATISTA (1940 ~ 1959) turned a blindeye to the American exploitation
of the Island because he loved the DOLLARS ! Is MISTER TRUMP so so
ignorant that he does not understand that it was a PEOPLES REVOLUTION.
AMERICA mistakenly believed the CUBANS would rally behind the BAY
of PIGS invasion ! It was initiated by EISENHOWER (who should have
known better !) and reluctantly impemented by JFK. It was a DISASTER !

I have just completed a two weeks Cultural Tour of Western CUBA !
The poeple were all very happy and welcoming (they love the BRITS !)
TRUMPS diatribe from Miami last Friday bore no relationship to what we
experienced. Happy people ~ at all levels ~ immaculate welcoming hotels
not a Policeman or Militia anywhere in sight (unlike LONDON !) and no
restrictions anywhere ~ CUBA LAND OF THE FREE ! The UK is supporting
CUBA with more than 40,000 visitors per year and the Cuban Economy
knows that a UK POUND is worth 1.3 US DOLLARS !

Thanks CHRIS it is from the HEART. George the IIII (like Walt Disney) saw that all we need to do (in Florida) was drain the swamps and control the mosquitoes and 'gators ! The problem was that both FLORIDA & CUBA were too far away from the UK for a week's holiday. It now takes 9 hour by JET and then 90 days by boat. With a little support from the UK ~ Canada ~ Venezuela etc ~ CUBA will not only survive but thrive ! CUBAN HUGS BRIAN !
