A BAD REVIEW

Louis Gibbs

Same tired old theme,

Politics and Religion!

As if either really mattered ...

Either represented an absolute!

Foley, but it does provide polarization ...

Every script needs bones of contention,

Every drama requires fuel for division,

Every actor must add to the mayhem.

Still, this production has grown tedious,

The plot ... repetitive and predictable!

It hearkens back to the chaos spawned by Jesus ...

A plagiarized play, performed by far lesser actors!

    This is genius.

Louis, it is amazing that both you and Edthepoet happened to address the same subject matter. Yes, the world is in bad shape, and both politics and religion have done horrible things over the years. But I do have to side with Robert in the belief that eventually good will prevail.
But you are right, the world is a stage and we are all actors.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply!

Super write but, yes, I am sure good will prevail in spite of and not because of politics and religion.

Certainly not because of, I agree.

You bring up a good point Louis. Many a politician will portray a 'public piety' yet, judging by their contradictory actions, show a real lack of interior formation and prayer life. I'll keep praying for them anyway...

You've nailed it! Thanks for your input.

The actors in this play have no idea of truth - nor do they care.

Really bad acting, wouldn't you agree?

Thanks, OUTBACK, for your totally unique comments!

What appears to be a hopeless plight may well just be part of the plan which we don't fully understand.
