What is it that you see
When looking into the mirror
Are you filled with glee
Or starkly grabbed by terror
Does the face looking back
Make you feel good
Trigger a heart attack
Or look like it should
Do you see who you are
Or who you would like to be
Do you feel rather bizarre
Or happy and free
The mirror takes no side
Is just reflecting light
There is no place to hide
There is no wrong or right
No matter what the mirror shows
You’re the king without any cloths

How refreshing to read a well written poem with both structure and cadence! Kudos, Fred!
Thanks so much Louis! I try but seldom succeed.
Turn the mirror round - you never look so old from behind. Love the write.
Perfectly done!
Memories of the man I was
Looking at someone else
Now I truly see myself
Free from my own self-hate
This is another really
Good poem Fred
It discribes me to a tee
Good write but always remember person you see in the mirror is not how people see you.
Thank you all!
