Raindrops

sue.evans

Raindrops take form,

Like the emotions in the heart,

They gather and fall from the sky,

A gathering storm,

As our emotions let fly,

They drop on glass surfaces

And ripples go wide,

Concentric circles gyrating

Drops of emotion stinging the faces

Of others, as emotions are pulsating,

Like raindrops on a pond, I find

A single emotion ripples, affecting all mankind.

BEAUTIFUL SUE ~ A lovley constructed poem ~ full of rhythm and an intriguing rhyme pattern ! The pitter patter rhythm complements the subject. I love any mention of the Water Cycle ~ driven emotionally by Brother Sun and is the key to life on Planet Earth ~ AMEN ~ Yours BRIAN lease check my CARDINAL POEM ~ Thanks B
