Walk through thought

P.H.Rose

Walk through thought.

I walk through time
A life laden line
A simple stroll
Through centuries old
Along a path not true
Between burn and yew
The sun's warmth welcome
The nights cold seldom
Natures offspring beauty
Mans abject cruelty
On stranger tides a loves view
Days long pride all hopes ensue
This moment making madness
A lifetime to regret.

Fine poetic comparison with well chosen phrasing to describe a walk through time-laden thought - I so enjoyed the slant of this read Tony - -

            My poem tomorrow is
            Completely different
            But set in another place
            Where my thoughts
            Take over..
