Do Try -

Fay Slimm.

Do Try.

Oh tiny flat diaphanous
beauty lying as dead on top
of my coffee.

I never saw you drop
from your first flying journey
right into my cup.

Let me resurrect you
to life with one scoop of spoon
under your silence.

Do try to revive by
flutter of wings when dry you
little slip of a fly.

Good fun write, but any fly who drinks my coffee stands little chance of survival.

Fay, most people just see a fly and get rid of it. You see beauty and a story.

Gives the coffee that certain Musca domestica aroma - some would pay large amounts for that - errrr - but not me.

Good write Fay. I'm more likely to save a spider from a bath it does not want, if I find one in me tub!
