The Conch Shell

The Conch Shell

Listen!  Hear the roar of the rushing waves,

Swoosh-ing upon the shore. Swooosh. Swoosh.  Swoosh.

And the water flows back to the sea.  Here,

You listen - Put close to your ear and hear.

Swooosh! How calming, I am lost adrift waves.

What shell is this my friend? Just below the sand.

Swoosh.  The water flows back.  The tide is high,

and the sea is calm.  Close your eyes - listen!
