COMMUNICATING WITH GOD ~ A Blank Verse 4 6 4 Sonnet

BRIAN & ANGELA

 

 

GOD  communicated with Me today 

With words of comfort and full assurance

"Stick to my course for your life ~ be strong

Hold tight to the Truth ~ I am with you !"

 

GOD reminded Me of His care for His

Saints and how he had strengthened those in need

And how He had cared for Me ~ since my Birth

His loving care for Me ~ as a Young Man

His provision for Me ~ as His Witness

At Home ~ At School / Work ~ In the Community

 

His Power to overcome ~ Sin and Evil

In myself and throughout the whole wide World

GOD provides a Guardian Angel for me

GOD is with me  ~ I spoke to Him today !

When we pray we speak directly to Our Creator God.

My experience is that God hears and answers Prayer.

People ask me ~ how does God answer ? 1. Through His

Word ~ the Bible.  2. Through our Church Members who

speak to us.   3. Through articles etc we read.  4.  Through

circumstance.  5.  Through His ministering Angels.  6. Through

our inner conscience and sometimes 7.  A still small voice within.

What is your experience of the Privilege & Power of Prayer ?

        Yes, if I spent them moments on the sherry in prayer instead.... why, I would be praying about 23 hours a day! heehee.

                Thanks CHRIS ~ I know you are very open and responsive to the Spiritual Dimension ~ so i always value your comments on my \"Sunday Sonnet\" It is my experience ~ and yours ~ that GOD answers in Different Ways ~so we have to be open to the SEVEN ways I have mentioned and others also. I often find an answer in \"coincidence\" but Atheists would just call that CHANCE ! A group of our Missionaries were praying for some English Biscuits (best in the World) but they had been getting CRACKERS so they prayed Please God not CRACKERS ~ A lady who normally sent CRACKERS saw a lovely BOX or ASSORTED CREAM & CHOCOLATE BISCUITS and even though they were much more expensive ~ she bought and sent them. The MISSIONARIES praised GOD because their Prayers had been answered ~ or was it just COINCIDENCE ? ? ? Hugs in the SPIRIT ~ BRIAN

                  Thanks HEATHER ~ when we PRAY we need to tune in all our RECEPTORS ! God has a Sense of Humour (He designed and created FROGS !) so He answers our Prayers in some unusual ways ! Yours BRIAN (UK)

                  Thanks for the words about God. I'm not attached to religion but I'm spiritualist and a student of the Gnosticism. I think the way with God is to keep your mind and heart as pure as possible. And love all Gods creation.
