Just say sorry

ShannonXx

Just say sorry

Apologise for the mistakes you made

As we both know it’s not all one way

Just say sorry

Who are you trying kid

But I guess your pride and ego is more important than this

Just say sorry

Accept the hurt you caused

Then I can forgive you

We can move on from this all

I said sorry

Because I care about you lots

As well as our friendship

Even though it’s not all my fault

You never did say sorry

It pains me to the core

But now I’ve realised

You don’t deserve me at all

people say sorry mostly just because it gets them away from the real matter of the issue. they say when actually they don't even mean it.having the ability to own up to ones own mistakes takes you on to another level of thought. meaning that if you want to deny yourself as a good human being then carry on denying then it's the real shame of that which happening. only apoligize if you know you are right. thanks for bringing this up, its really important x

Yes, I agree with Kevin. I like when people come back and apologize but only if they mean it, other ways I rather not hear anything. Also the best way to show you are sorry is to change your behavior. Then I can forgive. But also I believe we have to be compassionate with others and with our own mistakes. Thanks for sharing this beauty and such an important subject

Yes I also agree with your point! There is no point apologising if you don't mean it. And thank you

A fine write - sadly apologies are often given to get the perpetrator off the hook and not from an act of regret.

Thank you! and yes that's true

First one has to realize that one made a mistake. Unfortunately a lot of people find only fault with others, never with themselves. If one thinks one is not at fault there is no need to apologize.
Love your poem, especially the last line. Don't wait for an apology, walk away!

              I agree! and thank you

Friendship is a feeble and fragile thing. I personally used to think that every single person on this earth was just out to stab you in the back. Although, not all of us are bad. A true friend is someone who is willing to sacrifice their happiness for the sake of yours. Well done with getting the message out. Happy writing to you!

I agree! There are some good people out there who can be true friends! And thank you

You must only apologise if you mean it, as has been said some apologise to ensure that they can get away with things. Good write.

Yes that is true! and thank you
