I must be a daring little thing, to think I can throw my words into the world. I would not say I'm inconsequential, cause I put love on every unfold.
I can say I've got entangled, on my own life,
on my happy recipe
I'm putting to much spice.
I'm still a worker, my time is at bay,
To pay the bills, need to find my way.
I'm running out of word, to do my writing,
As my time is short, to go into studying.
To find some rhymes, I get into a fight, can never find an input, to make it right.
I divide myself, too much life affair
Even to myself, it is not being fair.
Time to the garden, time to the kids
time to my love, time to my needs.
There is more than that, I did not mention,
that even my ex, is asking for attention.
So my friends, if you have an answer, for such despair,
I will put my life, suspended on air, till I can find time, or any solution, cause my cute mind, need no more pollution. I comeback some time,
For this I swear,
For my poetic side, I will always give my share.

make sure you do malubotelho because your poetry is fabulous and it wouldn't be the same without you. why don't you forget about the rthyme and rhyming and go free style verses for a while and see how you get along. I love the beat poet format because it allows to make use of more words rather that thinking of words that rhyme. good luck either way x
You are right. I wrote about rhyme just to rhyme. Hahaha! No, I understand and I like just to flow my writing too. Lately the trumped are sticking to me. I don't even like it much. It is not the problem here. The main problem is that I always wrote I'm my language that is Portuguese and my English is just poor because I've never studied English. So, to keep writing in English I need to study the language cause I'm running out of words. I'm studying it now but then comes time. Time is my curse. I'm always busy. I hear people say that they are sad, they are mad, they are depressed, they are bored. I don't have this problems. I love too much things. I have too many interest. I find fun on everything I do. But my time is always short. I don't watch much TV and the only time I'm doing nothing is when I'm meditating. What I love. I will be here but not that much. I need to refine my writing.
my heart will be with all the way through your learning the Engli8sh language. it's not bad though I must say.

You are always right Pauly. This is why I think I need to dose everything up since I have so many interests to follow. I say my curse is time to do everything. Malu, I do understand where you are coming from. I guess you could say we are in the same boat. I know that a lot of people my age are retired, but for me being retired would be like being dead!
I have a business I love, am good at, and right now am busy as heck. I am in the middle of renovating my house, help my wife with her business, try to skype with and go see my grand-children as often as I can, and now got involved in and love this forum. TV? What's that? And finally, about that darned English: Not my mother tongue either, but after so many years living with it I guess it has become my step-mother tongue. Problem is that I cannot write anymore very well in my mother tongue and am not yet good enough in my step-mother tongue. Talk about sitting between two chairs!
I see it. I say that time is my curse because I appreciate so many things in life. I'm happy to live and love all things life has to offer, like being here and reading others writing is much more important to me than be writing. But if I'm going to write I need to take some time to improve my writing. And I will do that but slowly. I never been to school to learn English and I'm paying a price now. I like the way you said it about the two languages. Sitting between two chairs. It is so true. One reason why I need to limit my dos is because if I try to do too much my mind begins to get too active and I don't like that. I need to keep my sanity and the only way is to do less and to unclutter the mind. I thank you for your support and will always be here reading the work of others.
Just make sure you post something every once in a while, so we don't miss your writing alltogether.

More words in English than any other and still I often struggle for the right word - you are not alone but whatever else just keep writing its the only way to learn,
Thanks my friend. I will never stop because writing for me is like dancing 💃 it is a flow. I just love when sometimes I feel like it is sliding nicely. So good. I will try to learn and improve. I'm creating a dictionary with words and meaning for myself. Like you said: writing is a way of learning.
