The stars are out tonight!

Ljneedham08

It's silent but it's so alive.
It's cold but it's real.
It's dark yet it's beautiful.
It's everything I feel.

As I breath in the air,
It satisfies my soul!
Once yearned for inspiration,
of which the dullness stole.

I was walking with a blinded heart,
But slowly it gained it's sight,
There's more to the world
Than I'd known
Like the stars are out tonight.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This has been written after having writers block for months, it's about trying so hard to find something that's merely impossible to find and not seeing what's right in front of you. Sometimes it's just the simple things are what makes life really amazing.
