So still in the air

The kestrel hovers above,

Searching for its prey.

Magnificent bird, and nice haiku tribute GF. Lovely.

Great haiku Andy - how about working your way through Collins English Birds.

It can be arranged, I have only been bird watching for over 60 years.

These birds are amazing, and so is your Haiku! Personally I am very fond of the Peregrine Falcon. It kills its prey by hitting it a high speed, then swoops around and catches it before it falls to the ground. An incredible deadly ballet in midair.

Peregrines are magnificent birds their are two sights not that far from me where they nest and breed so I am very fortunate in being able to see them.

Ah, so that is what inspired the Harrier aircraft! Amazing footage and a fine Haiku, Goldie!

          Thank you Louis, much appreciated.
