One eye closed
One wide open
Innocent wonder
Transcending into
A different world
Imagination going
Wild
Colors flowing
In and out of
Consciousness
Every image
Different
Original
Stimulating
A new
Exciting world
In a cardboard tube

A great read as you opened that cardboard tube again to me to show how wonderful a kaleidoscope can be
- -thanks for the memory Fred.
You are welcome dear Fay, anytime!
Brilliant and so true, if only they knew the places your mind can take you to. If you have never seen what it's like through that cardboard tube!
Thanks Dan, you are right, with mind there are no limits!
Our imagination can see all and all it needs is a twist on that tube called life. Goo write.
Thanks Goldfinch, and every twist on the life tube shows us a different direction.
"A new exciting world in a cardboard tube," indeed ... and the one outside ain't all that dull either! Fine, memory-provoking poem, Fred.
Thanks Louis, and you are sooooo right! Sometimes we do look too much into the tube, forgetting that there is so much beauty surrounding us. I guess it is ok to look with only one eye once in a while, but for the real thing we do need both eyes!
Now that was even better read. Thank you both
So I remember now. The kaleidoscope is like very interactive with us. It is playfull for our mind. Thanks Fred.
Thanks Malu, yes, it can be interactive, playfull....it can be anything you want it to be.
One eye at one end - the future through the other - great Fred.
Thanks Michael, are you referring to a one-eyed future? I hope not, for that I think we need both eyes! 🙂
We can have two tubes - one for each eye. Do you remember the seebackrerscope we had as kids - you could look round corners with it and see what's going on behind - would love to get my hands on one - must look on Amazon.
Yes Fred, coloured beads and mirrors. Shake em up and they look pretty. Life can be like that too... depends how u look at it, shake it up a bit, or shake ones self up a bit and the picture changes.
Thanks b-e, and more often than not we will see what we want to see!
You most certainly can Fred
Excellent poem sir
