The Tradgedy of Laughter

Accidental Poet

Let me tell you friend

When the blues come to call

It don’t spare you or me

But comes to one and all

We’ve all been there

In that abyss all alone

One way in and no way out

Then suddenly you’re safe at home

The blues will run its course

Shake you up pretty bad

Feeling overwhelmed

Leave you exhausted and sad

But then you realize

Like a trooper you’ve survived

Same as the Phoenix Bird

You’ve been revived

Your laughter fills the air

Let it echo throughout the land

Feel your strength grow

Proud of the ground you stand

So sweet are the tears

And the smiles that come after

Saying good-bye to those blues

Is the tragedy of laughter

Good positive write. The blues are best when listening to them being sung.
